I'm sure everyone is familiar with my husband, Ed Mironiuk. He's been the illustrator for Tattoo Magazine for 20 years, pinup artist extraordinaire and all around great guy.

I love him.

He's starting a new artistic adventure, far from the tattoos and pinups you may be familiar with and although he originally wanted to stay anonymous, he's decided to come out of his cocoon with it.

He'll be working under the name GH-05-T and I proudly present a selection of his works --  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

"Juvie Wolf"

I love this illo Ed made and now he's got it up for voting at Threadless.

"When Juvie Wolf aint howlin' at the moon he's howlin' at the dames. Simulated process printing is where it's at, any square would know that. Hope you cats dig it."

I can dig it. Can you? Then give him a high 5 here.

Thanks :D

Feeling Alive Again

The official video for the single Alive from the album Head First by Goldfrapp. Ed had shown it to me way back in May and of course, I'd forgotten all about it. He showed it to me again this morning and it was just way too appropriate NOT to post about here.

I do feel alive again. I don't remember too much, but I'm happy dammit! I've got three more treatments, once a week and the memory issues should lesson after each one. I'm really hoping to get back to painting within a month or two at the most.

Enjoy the video and thanks to everyone for sticking around. I promise I'm going to kick some major art-ass this year!

Once again...

I love my husband. He's amazing. He puts up with me. He loves me. We just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary (we got married at DisneyWorld)

and I honestly love him more today than the day I married him, which, frankly, seems impossible that my heart is capable of that much love (in a good way!).

Last year Ed got Papper Och Penna to design my name just for him:

So he could have it tattooed on the back of his noggin'.

So why not take a look at my husband. He's funny, writes about cool things and draws like a m*tha-f* --Shut your mouth!

The Love of My Life

is Ed Mironiuk. Why should you care? Well I guess it doesn't really matter, but it makes me smile every damn day. HE makes me smile every damn day. He gets me laughing so hard with some quick comment that I can't breathe. He inspires me and loves me and makese me keep on going when things look pretty damn bleek.

And he's an amazing artist. I'm very proud of him and everything he does and I would, if financially viable, watch him work all day.

He's just gotten his website updated and all pretty and I thought I'd introduce you guys.
