Happy Food Solo at Gallery 1988

Happy Food is coming!

I am humbled and honored to once again be showing my work with Gallery 1988. When asked to do another solo with them, I had a couple ideas for themes, but kept coming back to happy food.

Mr. Good Morning Waffle along with 29 of his tasty friends will be on display from May 15th through June 6th at their East location. As with all their shows, there will not be an advance preview so if you can't make it to the opening, all remaining art (including limited edition prints) will go on sale the next day in their online shop. But since Ed and I will be flying out for the opening, we hope that we can see lots of you there!

What? You'd like another sneak peek? Here's "Salud":

I'll be showing a few more complete paintings over the next week, so stay tuned. ARe you still itching to buy some artwork now? Gallery 1988 is having a spring sale until May 17th on most inventory. Use the code 2015 for 15% off! I've got a handful of items that are eligible for the sale which you can peruse here.

Forever Go Together - Oreos Print on Wood

Hey everybody! Look who I discovered:

"Forever Go Together"

We had such a great time with Mr. Waffle that I paired up with the good folks over at Prints on Wood again for a timed print release of these happy fellas.

Each fine art wood print is 8 x 10 in. (20.32 x 25.4 cm) and will be signed and numbered on 1/2" sustainable Birch with a bright white finish. One of the actual prints can be seen below.

Available for purchase now through Friday, November 7th at 12 pm PST.

Cost is $55.

"There's Always Room" is back!

I just picked up this painting from it's six month long exhibition and I'm really happy to see it again. I kind of forgot how bright the colors are and how big it is (for me, at least!). I think that it's time for this piece to make someone else happy. It will be available for purchase in my shop on Friday, September 7th at 3pm EDT.

I'm going to be donating 10% of the sale price to the NJ Food Bank as well, so many thanks in advance to whoever may give this piece a loving home.

Oooo...Beautiful Home...WTF?!

I just spent the better part of today prepping and then printing about a hundred prints for new plaques. Not the most exciting work but it needs to be done. I figured I could use a little break and hopped over to Apartment Therapy to look at the beautiful homes. I can dream, can't I?

First up, a gorgeous San Francisco condo...

Owned by Greg, Brian and their chihuahua-brussels griffon, Mr. Biggs...

They write about Greg's eccentric art collection, including a vintage Keene print, Eric Joyner, super-heroine figures (especially Wonder Woman)...

...and some weird little characters in the kitchen.

Wait a minute...that's my work! A quick scan down the resources list and sure enough I'm listed.

Such a wonderful surprise for an otherwise boring day. Nice to know that my work is out there making people smile everyday.

Thanks guys!
