I Need To Try Harder
And this inspired the hell out of me. New work from Greg Simkins via
Is This Anything?
Mr. McPrickles Is A Print!
How wonderful :D The good people over at Gallery Nucleus decided that this little guy was worthy of his own print run! He's up in their shop and ready to go.
Ed Rules
Ed (the guy with my name tattooed on the back of his noggin') has been posting some cool stuff over on his journal. His latest is Cosmic Candy/Space Dust, Pop Rocks misunderstood cousin from the 70's. He found this trippy commercial for them. And you wonder why I had nightmares as a kid...
Pre-Sale!
If you were interested in one of my originals from the M&HD2 show opening tomorrow, all the work is now (yes, right now!) up for pre-sale! Click here :D
Mr. McPrickles
Meet "Mr. McPrickles", my latest piece
He was accepted into Gallery Nucleus' Power In Numbers project and will go on sale this Saturday, April 23rd. He measures 5" x 7" (like all the PIN pieces) and will be $100. My proceeds from the sale will go to UNICEF. A portion of every sale, and they are priced at either $50 or $100, goes to benefit the artist's chosen charity.
AND once the piece is sold a button will go up under it saying 'Print Request'. If enough people request a print, Gallery Nucleus will go ahead and do a print run :)
It's a great project and there's tons of great work at very affordable prices. I'm honored to be included.

Yay! He sold :D If you would like a print, please contact Gallery Nucleus to request that they make them :) Thank you!
Pink Nail Polish Day
My good friend just invited me to join in her Pink Nail Polish Day on May 18th and I think it's a great idea. For cake's sake, whatever happened to just having fun? Why does everything have to been a news story involving psychiatrists and politicians. It's NAIL POLISH! And as Jon Stewart pointed out, there's something called 'nail polish remover' too.
Finished
Hey everybody! Finally shipped off my two pieces for the Meth & Hot Dogs 2 show at Lift Gallery opening April 30th, 2011.
I present "It's A Trap" on the right and "Daffadown Dilly" on the left. Both measure 3.5" x 24" :D

Just got an email that these two are now up for pre-sale! You can purchase them before the show even opens here :D
Oooo...Beautiful Home...WTF?!
I just spent the better part of today prepping and then printing about a hundred prints for new plaques. Not the most exciting work but it needs to be done. I figured I could use a little break and hopped over to Apartment Therapy to look at the beautiful homes. I can dream, can't I?
First up, a gorgeous San Francisco condo...
Owned by Greg, Brian and their chihuahua-brussels griffon, Mr. Biggs...
They write about Greg's eccentric art collection, including a vintage Keene print, Eric Joyner, super-heroine figures (especially Wonder Woman)...
...and some weird little characters in the kitchen.
Wait a minute...that's my work! A quick scan down the resources list and sure enough I'm listed.
Such a wonderful surprise for an otherwise boring day. Nice to know that my work is out there making people smile everyday.
Thanks guys!
