I apologize for my lack of new work. I honestly thought I'd be pumping out painting after painting this year, but we've been (thankfully) very busy with our animation/ink and paint company. I did find a bit of time for some doodling...
And although I love the Marshy on the right with the cherry on his head, I just couldn't help laughing everytime I saw the Marshy with the chocolate chip on his butt. So I present, "No S'more"
Enjoy!
After getting about ten requests to be put on my mailing list this past week, I figured it was a sign to actually put one together. I found a great site, Mad Mimi, that is just perfect for what I wanted to do. So go ahead, type in your email and when I have an original, new prints, a show or sale, I'll send you a pretty newsletter.

Ed and I were at the farmer's market the other week and we immediately spotted the Ugli fruit. He wanted to eat it and I wanted to paint it. I glanced to the left and there were perfect, little kumquats. The contrast in size, texture and color made me want to paint even more.
I present "Grampa Hoogly",

He'll go up for sale Saturday, June 4th at 8pm EDT in my shop.
It's tough enough trying to make a living off of your artwork. (I have yet to be able to do it.) Let alone in this shitty economy. And the fact you have to watch your back because people steal ideas all the time. Small people are bad enough, but when it's a big guy, like Urban Outfitters, that sucks even more.

And then the artist's Etsy site with her original work
If you want to buy something, why not click the pic above to go to the original Etsy page. To read more, please visit the artist's tumblr page, i make shiny things.

And this inspired the hell out of me. New work from Greg Simkins via

How wonderful :D The good people over at Gallery Nucleus decided that this little guy was worthy of his own print run! He's up in their shop and ready to go.
